Attention Plas-Talk Users:
When (or if) you sign up for Yuku (required to participate in the new
Plas-Talk.com Message Board), DON'T USE YOUR REAL NAME as your Profile/User name. If you do, your participation will certainly NOT be
anonymous, even if you want to be.
Instead, make up a "nickname" or other message board handle ... for
example, I used "plasman". Your username must be some combination of letters and numbers ... no dashes or other punctuation should be
used.
When you click "Sign Up" at http://www.yuku.com, you will be prompted for your real name, a password (write it down!), a real e-mail address, and to confirm
your age. When you agree, the following screen will appear. DELETE your Real Name and substitute your nickname or other username before your click
"FINISH" to create your new profile. See the screenshot below.
NOTE: You can edit your profile any time to control what other members can see
about you online, including your real name.
If you've already created a username with your real name and want to
change it, just create a new one. If you don't use the old one, it will eventually be deleted by the Yuku system.
I thought you might want to know this ... some of the early members have
joined using their real names and might not wish to do so. Sometimes it's better to remain anonymouse on a public message board.
